Ceylon BOP Aislaby is a strong, dark copper-brown tea that appears slightly reddish in the cup. The flavor is aromatic, strong and long-lasting, with a slightly sweet, rounded yet balanced mouthfeel. The bouquet of Ceylon BOP somewhat resembles the character of Bordeaux wine. It is suitable as a morning tea, or whenever you crave flavor and invigoration in your day.
Ceylon BOP comes from the high-quality Aislaby Farm & Estate production facility in the Badulla region of the UVA province in Sri Lanka. The estate produces tea year-round, but this tea is from the main production season, July-September. Ceylon's best qualities are produced in mountainous plantations extending up to 2000 meters.
Brewing time 2-4 minutes, brewing temperature 95-100 °C, and dosage 1 teaspoon per cup or 4-5 teaspoons per liter.
