White tea

White tea is harvested from selected growing areas as the tea plant leaves unfurl, and it is produced without fermentation. Thanks to the young leaves, the tea's taste is not bitter like many other tea varieties. White tea is one of the most valuable tea varieties due to its price because it is made solely from the buds and tip leaves of the tea plant's upper part, and no other parts of the tea plant are mixed in. The name white tea comes from the delicate white hairs covering the surface of the buds and tip leaves. White tea is not allowed to oxidize. In Western countries, white tea is relatively rare, but it is consumed quite extensively in China and Japan.
