Japan Kokeicha is a special tea, approximately 10 mm long, shaped like spruce needles, made by pressing finely ground tea powder. The tea is aromatic and leaves a pleasant, soft aftertaste. The brewed tea is pale yellow. Global demand exceeds supply, so its availability is quite limited.
Steeping time 1-3 minutes, water temperature 75-80 degrees Celsius, dosage 1 teaspoon/cup or 4-5 teaspoons per liter.
