Kenyan GBOP Kaproret tea is grown in the highlands of the Kenyan mountains in the Kericho region. The tea is based on old tea bushes imported from China, although the soil makes the tea very aromatic and strong. Kenyan GBOP Kaproret is a second flush tea. The leaf is pointed, dark, and fully fermented.
Brewed tea is a dark orange, slightly glossy beverage. The taste is strong, distinctive, and multi-dimensionally floral. Kenyan Kaproret is excellent to drink on its own, but sweeteners and milk can also be added. The leaves can be brewed multiple times. Kenyan Kaproret tea resembles traditional Chinese Yunnan tea.
Brewing time 3-5 minutes, water temperature 100°C, dosage 1 teaspoon per cup or 4-5 / liter.
